Language Skills in English Course Books for HSC I and II, Prescribed by Baluchistan Textbook Board, Quetta

Language is the fundamental trait of human beings through which they communicate with each other. Every language has four primary skills language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Listening reading are considered receptive skills, whereas speaking writing regarded as productive skills. An individual to get mastery over all command on any language. Textbooks significant sources educate students in subjects. Similarly, teaching learning a non-native language, use textbooks indispensable. To enable students’ competency ELT teachers take help classrooms. This study aims find out presentation that used teach English HSC I II Balochistan, Pakistan. For this study, were analyzed for by using checklist prepared Abdul (2013). It was intended focused neglected textbooks. The concluded textbook content predominantly ignored; however, some activities exercises trigger students. is, therefore recommended be modified balanced proportion should included provide plenty opportunities practice classroom under teachers’ guidance.
